Toxicological information

Acute Toxicity: inhalation

Currently viewing:

Administrative data

Endpoint:
acute toxicity: inhalation
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
disregarded due to major methodological deficiencies
Reliability:
4 (not assignable)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: see 'Remark'
Remarks:
Acute toxicity: inhalation can be waived due to corrosive properties of NP. The range finding toxicity data provided by Smyth et al. are without documentation. Exposure of group of six rats to an unquantified "concentrated vapour" of nonylphenol for 4 hours caused no deaths
