Conclusions:
The algae has been shown to be the most sensitive freshwater organism. The 72h-ErC10 = 13.5 mg/L (nominal), and the 72h-(96h)-NOEC = 3.2 mg/L (nominal) for the active substance.

Description of key information

The active substance is not acute toxic to algae at a nominal concentration of 3.2 mg/L in a static aquatic toxicity test performed for 72 hours.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 for freshwater algae:
43.1 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
3.2 mg/L

Additional information

The algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata has been shown to be the most sensitive freshwater organism.

72h-ErC10 = 13.5 mg/L (nominal),

72h-(96h)-NOEC = 3.2 mg/L (nominal).

These aquatic acute and chronic toxicity values do not lead to a classification of the substance.

Therefore no additional chronic aquatic toxicity tests seem to be necessary for the active substance.
