Conclusions:
The study of this end-point is waived. E-glass microfibre is inorganic with no biological activity. E-glass microfibre does not translocate after intake (ingestion or inhalation). E-glass microfibre is not biosoluble and is not dissolved by the lung fluid after inhalation. Due to these characteristics it is assessed that exposure of males and females in a pre-mating period will not affect the fertility. The continued exposure of the females after fertilisation (the dams) will not result in exposure of foetuses and consequently not affect the foetuses.
