Description of key information

Endpoint waived due to readily biodegradation, low bioaccumulation and low acute toxicity of the substance to aquatic organisms.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance is readily biodegradable, has a low bioaccumulation potential and low acute toxicity to aquatic organisms. Furthermore, because of the low octanol-water partition coefficient it is expected that the substance will have a low potential to adsorb to organic particles and therefore exposure of the sediment compartment will be low. Therefore, the substance is not considered dangerous for the environment and risks for the sediment compartment are considered to be low.
