Conclusions:
The mean surface tension of the test item at approximately its hydrosolubility in demineralized water was 68.0.2 ± 0.2 mN/m (corrected value).
The test item was not considered as surface-active in these experimental conditions.

Description of key information

The determination of the surface tension of the test substance is based on a GLP key study, performed in compliance with Commission Directive 92/69/EEC, Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 - EC A5 method (2008) and OECD Guideline No. 115 (1995).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
68
in mN/m at 20°C and concentration in mg/L:
304.56

Additional information

The mean surface tension of the test item at approximately its hydrosolubility in demineralized water was 68.0 ± 0.2 mN/m (corrected value). The test item was not considered as surface-active in these experimental conditions.
