Description of key information

In a 3 h activated sludge respiration inhibition study, activated sludge was exposed to m-(2,3-epoxypropoxy)-N,N-bis(2,3-epoxypropyl)aniline. The EC50 exceeded a loading rate of 1000 mg/L. The study is considered to be reliable without restrictions.

Additional information

In a 3 h activated sludge respiration inhibition study, activated sludge was exposed to m-(2,3-epoxypropoxy)-N,N-bis(2,3-epoxypropyl)aniline at nominal concentrations of 0 (blank-control), 10, 100 and 1000 mg/L. The test substance was slightly toxic to waste water (activated sludge) bacteria at or below a loading rate of 1000 mg/L. The NOEC could not be determined and the EC50 exceeded a loading rate of 1000 mg/L. The study is considered to be reliable without restrictions.
