Data from simulation and environmental screening studies shows, that Sn(II) is only stable at pH values lower than 3. At higher pH values insoluble hydroxid speciees are formed. So at an pH of approx 4 the concentration of Sn(II) in the aquatic column is lower than 10^5 mol /L. Similar values are determinated in soil.
