Additional information

The test substance rapidly oxidises in the atmosphere via reaction with photochemically produced OH radicals. Its atmospheric lifetime is estimated to be 5.1 days (Good et al., 1998). Atmospheric oxidation of this substance is predicted to result in the formation of formaldehyde, methyl formate, formic acid anhydride and formic acid (Sehested et al., 1996).
