Description of key information

Ethyltriglycol methacrylate is classified as readily biodegradable. The 10-day criterion for ready biodegradability was met.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

In a valid guideline study (OECD 301 F, manometric respiratory test), 90.1 % biodegradation was obtained after 28 days. Therefore Ethyltriglycol methacrylate is classified as readily biodegradable. The 10-day criterion for ready biodegradability was met. (BMG Engeneering AG, 1999)
