Type of study / information:
The purpose of this study is to provide a summary of the currently available information regarding the environmental fate of the ethyleneamine family of compounds. This summary includes information retrieved from the internal Dow and published literature on the compounds.

Information contained in this summary is limited to those physicallchemical properties which affect the distribution and fate of chemicals in the environment. In addition, the potential role of processes such as hydrolysis, photolysis, and biodegradation in the removal of ethyleneamines from the environment was evaluated. Based on the available environmental fate information for the ethyleneamines, the following conclusions can be
made.
