Description of key information

Photodegradation is a process were light or light and reactive species such as oxygen- or hydroxyl radicals lead to a degradation of a substance. Carbon black is inorganic and substantially, elemental carbon (C) it cannot further be degraded and therefore it is not photodegradable in soil.
