Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

As no one study was robust enough to be considered as key on its own, a weight of evidence approach was used. The values obtained were as follows:

Density.001: 1.0907 g/cm^3 at 20 ºC

Density.002: 1.085 g/cm^3 at 20 ºC

Density.003: 1.1010 g/cm^3 at 20 ºC

Density.004: 1.073 g/mL at 30 ºC

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Three of the study records for this end point are from product data sheets, the other (Density.001) is from internal testing. No methodological information is available for any of the studies. As such, all were assigned a Klimisch rating of 4, and therefore none could be considered robust enough to be a key study. A weight of evidence approach using the four sources of information was adopted.

Three density values at 20 ºC are available, none of which can be considered as more reliable that the other. Because of this, none of the values can be considered as the key value for chemical safety assessment. All values fall within a narrow range, so the density can be considered as approximately 1.1 g/cm3 at 20 ºC.
