Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

As no one study was robust enough to be considered as key on its own, a weight of evidence approach was used. The values obtained were as follows:

Vapour pressure.001: Ranges from 350 Pa at 60 ºC to 7100 Pa at 120 ºC.

Vapour pressure.002: Ranges from 329 Pa at 60 ºC to 128883 Pa at 220 ºC.

Vapour pressure.003: 1870 Pa at 90 ºC

Vapour pressure.004: Ranges from 1600 Pa at 90 ºC to 2133 Pa at 95 ºC.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Two of the study records for this end point are from product data sheets, one is from a safety data sheet (Vapour pressure.003) and the other is from a literature source (Vapour pressure.004). No methodological information is available for any of the studies. As such, all were assigned a Klimisch rating of 4, and therefore none could be considered robust enough to be a key study. A weight of evidence approach using the four sources of information was adopted.

As no study could be considered as more reliable than any other, a key value for chemical safety assessment was not selected. The range of vapour pressures (taken from Vapour pressure.002) is 2.47 mmHg (329 Pa) at 60 ºC to 966.7 mmHg (128893 Pa) at 220 ºC.
