First-aid measures

General information:

If someone exposed to the product feels unwell, contact a doctor and show the safety data sheet.

Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately

After inhalation:

Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him calm. Consult a physician afterwards.

After contact with skin:

In case of contact with skin wash off  with plenty of water. Consult a doctor if skin irritation persists

After contact with eyes:

In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice

After ingestion:

When swallowed seek medical aid immediately and show the physician the packaging or the label of the packaging.

Fire-fighting measures

Use self-contained breathing apparatus

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:

Wear suitable personal protective equipment.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Dispose of contents / container according to local regulations

Pick up mechanically

Place in suitable containers and send for recovery or disposal

Containers in which spilt substance has been collected must be adequately labelled

Handling and storage

This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) and Article 18(4) for on-site isolated intermediates and transported isolated intermediates respectively. Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at the site.

Exposure controls / personal protection

During its lifecycle the substance is handled under strictly controlled conditions and is rigorously contained in accordance Art. 18. Based on the knowledge of the basic hazards to humans and environment technical, organizational and PPE measures are taken to minimize release and exposure of this substance. National regulatory requirements for the handling of chemicals are also fulfilled. Employees are regularly trained. The efficiency of these measures is controlled e.g. by workplace measurements. In case of deviations these measures are adapted.

Disposal considerations

Product:

Product should be taken to a suitable and authorized waste disposal site in accordance with relevant regulations and if necessary after consultation with the waste disposal operator and/or the competent Authorities

Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste
