Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
A flash point of 108 ± 2°C at 101.9 kPa was determined for the substance using a relevant test method and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable.

Description of key information

Flash point: 108 ± 2°C at 101.9 kPa (ISO 3679)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
108 °C

Additional information

A flash point value of 108 ± 2°C at 101.9 kPa was determined for the submission substance using a rapid equilibrium method in accordance with ISO 3679 Test Method and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable.

In a secondary source to which reliability could not be assigned, flash point values of 108°C and 118°C were reported for the substance.

A flash point of 108 ± 2°C at 1013 hPa and boiling point of 227 ± 1°C at 1007 hPa indicate that the submission substance should not be classified for flammability in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
