Additional information

The determination was carried out by flask method based on the OECD Guideline 105 and ETAD method. The concentration of the pigment was determined by HPLC-UV.

The method was developed by intensive cooperation with the ETAD (Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers) and is regarded as acceptable for pigments by authorities.

In addition, the test substance was identified as nanomaterial. Considering this information, the registrant proposes to further investigate the behavior of the test compound in aquatic media. ECHA’s Appendix R7-1 for nanomaterials applicable to Chapter R7b proposes to conduct a study according to OECD test guideline 318 to investigate the dispersion stability of the substance.
