- the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of soil is unlikely
- Justification for type of information:
- In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study is not needed since the substance is inorganic solid and insoluble in water. The biodegradation is not a relevant fate process for the inorganic substance and the bioavailable constituents of the substance. Based on the environmental exposure assessment and risk characterisation the direct exposure to soil is unlikely and the indirect emissions are controlled with the OCs and RMMs proposed..
