The effects on algal growth (ErC50 0.057 mg/L) leads to an ¿acute and chronic aquatic hazard 1¿ categorization (R50/53); H410. 

1-Alpha-Methyandrostendion is not readily biodegradable and it was not toxic to the microbes of activated sludge and the

compound is slightly toxic to Daphnia magna, since the EC50 was between 10 and 100 mg/L.
