Additional information

A study was conducted for both structural analogues to determine the vapour pressure of the test substance according to EU Method A.4 and OECD Guideline 104, in compliance with GLP.

The determination of vapor pressure was carried out within the temperature ranges of 38 to 150°C and 23 to 139°C due to preliminary tests for thermal stability according to the effusion method (vapour pressure balance). No vapour pressure above the detection limit of 10E-05 hPa could be determined in the measured ranges, which indicates that the vapour pressure of the test substances is <10E-5 hPa.

Therefore, according to the Antoine equation, the vapour pressure was estimated at 20, 25 and 50°C. The vapour pressure at 20, 25 and 50°C was estimated to be 5.75x10E-11, 1.11x10E-10 and 2.21x10E-9, respectively. Since the true vapour pressure is most likely to be even much lower than this value derived from the detection limit, it may safely be assumed that the vapour pressure at the above listed temperatures is far below 10E-7 hPa (10E-5 Pa).

Under the study conditions, the vapour pressure of the test substance was determined to be <10-7 hPa at 20, 25 and 50°C.
