Description of key information
MDI/CHA/ODA is a multi-component substance. The partition coefficients for each component were calculated using the Rekker method.
The component with CAS# 154099-21-5 had a calculated logPow of 13.5.
The component with CAS# 58890-25-8 had a calculated logPow of 6.9.
The component with CAS# 43136-14-7 had a calculated logPow of 20.

The logPow of each component of the substance was calculated using the Rekker calculation method in accordance with OECD 117. As all three components are diurea compounds, the substance can be regarded as a group of homologues. According to the OECD 117, for homologue mixtures, a weighted average can be calculated. Taking into account the boundary composition of the substance, the weighted average logPow of the substance was calculated to be in the range of 10.4 - 18.4, calculated in the following way:
logPow = 35% (6.9)/53% + 8% (13.5)/53% + 10% (20)/53% = 10.4
logPow = 80% (20)/96% + 8% (13.5)/96% + 8% (6.9)/96% = 18.4
