The flammability of the test item was determined according to the European Commission Regulations (EC) No. 440/2008,
A.10. Flammability (solids). The test item could be ignited with a flame but the flame extinguished in the pre-burning zone.
No pyrophoricity.

The test item could be ignited with a flame but the flame extinguished in the pre-burning zone. The performance of the main test was not necessary.
Considering the structural formula and experience in handling and use it can be stated that pyrophoricity or flammability on contact with water are not a concern for the abovementioned substance. Therefore, testing for pyrophoricity or flammability on contact with water are scientifically unjustified.

The test item is not a highly flammable solid in the sense of the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.10.

Therefore, testing for pyrophoricity or flammability on contact with water are scientifically unjustified.
