Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Two separate studies have deen conducted on the test material in order to determine its melting point, both using the differential Scanning Calorimetry method.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In the first study, the melting point was determined to be 312°C, but the report states that the result should be treated with caution. This is because the DSC method should only be used for crystalline structures with a high degree of purity, whereas the test substance contains a significant amount of free ligand.

The DSC method was also used in the second study. No melting point was obtained in this study, as the test material appeared to decompose prior to melting.

Overall, the substance may be considered to have a melting point above 300°C.

Both studies have been rated as Reliability 2 on the Klimisch scale.
