The half-lives for hydrolytical degradation of Reactive Red F00-124 at 25 °C were estimated as follows:

pH 4: Stable

pH 7: DT 50 = 6222 h

pH 9: DT50 = 230 h

The substance was found to be not readily biodegradable in a screening study according to OECD guideline 301B (modified OECD screening test).

With an adsorption/desorption coefficient (Koc) of 15.85 the substance is not expected to adsorb to soil, sediment or sewage sludge to a significant extent.
