Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: if symptomatic, move to fresh air and keep at rest. Remove breathing equipment only after contaminated clothing have been completely
removed. Get medical attention if symptoms persist.
Eyes: any material that contacts the eye should be washed out immediately with water. If easy to do, remove contact lenses. Get medical attention if
symptoms persist.
Skin: immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes and wash skin with soap and plenty of water. Take to hospital immediately.
Ingestion: rinse mouth several time with water. Seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: water spray, dry chemical
Special fire-fighting procedures: wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool.
Hazardous combustion products: carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen (NOx), hydrogen chloride (HCl).
Powdered material may form explosive dust-air mixtures.
Accidental release measures
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away. Do not allow to enter sewers, surface or ground water. Sweep up and place in a clearly labeled container for chemical waste. Contaminated clothing should be disposed as hazardous waste.
Handling and storage
Handling: use only in well ventilated areas. Avoid exposure to the product. Avoid release to the sewage system or water drains. Minimize dust
generation and accumulation. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Storage: keep from contact with oxidizing materials. Keep container closed. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area.

Exposure controls / personal protection
5 mg/m3 (respirable dust)
10 mg/m3 (total dust)
BGW (Netherland) : 3’,5’-dichloro-4’ethyl-2’-hydroxypalmitanilide (CAS Regno 117827-06-2) : 0.45 mg/m3 (long term value)
Respiratory protection: if engineering controls do not maintain airborne concentrations below recommended exposure limits (where applicable) or
to an acceptable level (in countries where exposure limits have not been established), an approved respirator must be worn. Respiratory protection
Filter P3.
Eye protection: full face mask.
Skin protection: wear chemical-resistant gloves (nitrile rubber) and protective clothing appropriate for the risk of exposure.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: stable.
Incompatibility: strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous polymerization: will not occur.
Disposal considerations
Discharge, treatment, or disposal may be subject to national, state or local laws. Dispose off as halogenated organic powder. Incinerate. Since
emptied containers retain product residue, follow label warnings even after container is emptied.
