Conclusion on classification

The substance is readily biodegradable but has a potential for bioaccumulation (Log Kow: 6.20 at 25°C; OECD 117, HPLC method). Aquatic toxicity studies are available for aquatic invertebrates (EC50 (48 h): 0.41 mg/L) and aquatic microalgae (ErC50 (72 h): > 0.16 mg/L; ErC10 (72 h): 0.083 mg/L). Therefore, the substance is classified as “Aquatic Acute 1” and “Aquatic Chronic 1” according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (6th ATP).
