No testing is required in accordance with Column 2 adaptations: if:the available information indicates that the substance should be classified for skin sensitisation or corrosivity.

 

Trichlorosilane has harmonised at the EU level classification and it is classified as C (corrosive); R35 (Causes severe burns) (in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC) and as Skin Corrosive Category 1A substance (in accordance with the GHS criteria of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008).
