Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

From the structure of the test substance it is obvious, that the substance should be considered as a substance with oxidizing properties because the test substance, 2-Nitrophenyl Acetate, contains functional groups which are considered to be oxidant.

This conclusion is supported by the result obtained from determination of Oxidizing properties for 4-Nitrophenyl Acetate as the test substance (Study No. 65/15/53). This test substance, 4-Nitrophenyl Acetate, was classified as a substance with oxidizing properties and 2-Nitrophenyl Acetate and 4-Nitrophenyl Acetate are positional isomers.

On the bases of this information the study was not performed and the following Expert Statement is issued instead.
