Conclusions:
The water solubility determined by the column elution method at 20 °C was < 3 μg/L (mean value of both columns) (pH-value approx. 7).
Executive summary:

The study was performed according to guideline OECD 105 by the column elution method.

For the support material approximately 600 mg silica gel Chromosorb W/AW (0.15 -0.18 mm) was transferred to a 100 ml pear-shaped distilling flask. Approximately 11 mg of the test item was weighed into a 100 ml measuring flask. Acetone was added to dissolve the test substance and the flask was filled up to the mark with acetone. 5 ml of this solution was added to the support material and the solvent was completely evaporated using a rotary evaporator. The support material was soaked in demineralized water and the suspension was poured into the water-filled micro column. After equilibrating 10 ml fractions from the micro column were collected and their concentration was determined by HPLC-analysis.

The water solubility of the Solvent Violet 36 determined by the column elution method at 20 °C was < 3 μg/L (mean value of both columns) (pH-value approx. 7).

Description of key information

The water solubility of the test item, determined by the column elution method at 20 °C, was not detectable, with a value < 3 μg/L.
