Description of key information

The mean density of test item sodium 2-(2,3-dihydro-1,3-dioxo-1H-inden-2-yl)quinoline-6-sulphonate (CAS No. 84864-68-6) was determined using OECD guideline 109 and according to the method recommended in the International Pharmacopoeia, fourth Edition, 2014 using bulk density apparatus .The mean pour density and tapped density of the test item was found to be 0.3724 g/cm3and 0.5000 g/cm3at 33.6 °C and 965.0 hPa. For the purpose of chemical safety assessment, the relative density value is the tapped density value of 0.5 g/cm3
