Conclusions:
Half life period of sodium 2-(2 3-dihydro-1 3-dioxo-1H-inden-2-yl)quinoline-6-sulphonate in water is observed to be 37.5 days (900 hrs.) while in sediment it is 337.5 days (8100 hrs.). Based on these half life values of the test material, it is concluded that the chemical is not persistent in both water and sediment medium.
