Additional information

The prediction for soil adsorption potential of the UVCB substance reaction products of phosphorous trichloride, with 1,1′-biphenyl and 2,4-bis(1,1- dimethylethyl)phenol was determined by the KOCWIN program (v2.00) made available by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (based on the low water solubility and the complexity of the substance, an experimental study was considered inappropriate). Values have been estimated for the individual constituents of the UVCB substance, resulting in a Koc range of 9010 to 1.00E+10 L/kg (Log Koc range of 3.9547 to 18.1711) for the chemical compound. These results are indicative of a high sorption potential onto soil organic matter for the majority of the UVCB substance, which has been expected given the low water solubility.
