Description of key information

LC50 (96h; nominal) > 1000 mg/L ≙LC50 (96h; measured) > 18.65 mg/L; NOEC (96h; measured) ≥ 18.65 mg/L for Oncorhynchus mykiss [EU Method C.1, semi-static]

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water fish

Fresh water fish
Effect concentration:
18.65 mg/L

Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance to fish has been determined in a test with Oncorhynchus mykiss according to EU Method C.1. The LC50 was > 18.65 mg/L (96h, meas.), the 96h NOEC (meas.) was ≥ 18.65 mg/L. Hence, it can be stated that there is no toxicity in the range of the low water solubility of the test substance. Therefore, the test substance is considered not to be harmful to fish.
