Description of key information

In accordance with REACH Chapter R.7A Endpoint Specific Guidance, specifically R.7.1.14.1 Information requirements on granulometry, the granulometry study does not need to be conducted as the substance is marketed or used only as well dedusted powder or in a granular form. The substance is isolated by spray drying into the composite microgranular form or dedusting agent is added to form agglomerates of particles. As such, the particle size is not a function of the chemical but a function of the spray dryer and technique used. In case the technically achieved particle size is not in the range of low dust particles, the substance has to be labelled as highly toxic by inhalation (H330).
