Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The ultimate biodegradability of Glycyl (GR3400A) was assessed by measurement of generated carbon dioxide. The procedure followed was Standard 14593 of the Internal Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), which is essentially equivalent to OPPTS guideline 835.3120.

The mean inorganic carbon yield attributable to Glycyl (GR34000A) was less than 1% of the initial organic carbon loading thoughout the time course of this study. Although Glycyl (GR34000A) did not undergoe significant mineralisation under the conditions employed in this study, this is not necessarily an indication that Glycyl (GR34000A) would persist or accumulate in the environment.
