Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance is a light blue organic powder at 1013 hPa and 20 °C.

The thermal investigation showed that between 30 -150 °C there is a negative peak associated to the release of water/ solvent, followed by a decomposition that begins at 420 °C; no melting and boiling points have been recorded.

The relative density was determined by means of a pycnometer and its value at 20 °C was 1.537.

The particle size distribution was analyzed using the Mastersizer 2000 tool and the MMD resulted to be 18.247 µm.

The substance is very water soluble (10.95 g/l at 20 °C and pH 7.44) and Kow value was calculated as 0.0518 (average log Pow: -1.3038), showing a greater affinity with the water phase, than the octanol one.

On the basis of the physicochemical properties, vapour pressure, surface tension and flash point can be neglected.

The substance is not expected to be auto-flammable, flammable and explosive and it is deemed to be potentially not oxidising based on the chemical structure.
