Additional information

The 48–hr acute toxicity of 1,3-Dioxan-2-one (TMC) to Daphnia magna was studied according to OECD Guideline 202. Daphnids were exposed to the test chemical at the limit concentration of 1000 mg/L for 48 hr. No toxicity to Daphnia magna was observed during the test. Thus, the 48–hour EC50 was > 100 mg/L. The 48–hr NOEC was ≥ 1000 mg/L.
