Remarks on result:
other: Test 3
Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
1.61
Temp.:
25 °C
pH:
6.29
Remarks on result:
other: Test 4
Details on results:
Test 5 and 6 not used in the calculation of the final mean Log Pow due to the low concentration of test item in the water layer which would impact the accuracy of the Log Pow reported.

When visually observed the n-octanol phase was a clear pale solution whilst the water phase was seen to be a white cloudy solution.

See Attached Background Material

Conclusions:
The partition coefficient of the test substance was calculated to be 1.28 at 25 °C.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of the test substance was determined in accordance with the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals 107. The partition coefficient was determined by using the shake flask method followed by ICP-OES. The partition coefficient was reported as a mean of 1.28 at 25 °C.

Description of key information

A study was performed on the registered substance. The partition coefficient was reported as a mean of Log Kow 1.28 at 25 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
1.28
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The partition coefficient of the registered substance was determined in accordance with the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals 107. The partition coefficient was determined by using a shake flask method coupled with ICP-OES for the quantitative measurement. The partition coefficient was reported as a mean of Log Kow 1.28 at 25 °C.
