Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Based on the available information on the environmental fate and pathways, it can be concluded that the substance:

- is hydrolytically stable at pH 7 and 9, but is susceptible to hydrolysis at pH 4

- did not show a significant degree of degradation in a ready biodegradability test (< 10%)

- has a low tendency for adsorption to soil (log Koc = 1.48)

- has a low tendency for evaporation from the water phase (HLC = 6.19E-004 Pa-m3/mole at 25°C)

Therefore, it has to be assumed that the substance will not be biodegraded to a relevant amount in the environment and the persistence in the environment has to be expected.

Taking into account the substance's high water solubility (1200 mg/L), the low volatility from the water phase and the low log Koc value, it can be assumed that the substance will mainly partition into the water phase.
