Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Column 2 of Annex IX, section 9.4. the need of the study depends on the use of the test substance and on the outcome of the chemical safety assessment.

The PNEC soil can be assessed in a first step using the equilibrium partitioning method based on the PNEC aqua (freshwater) and the soil/water partition coefficient. The environmental concentrations were predicted in the exposure assessment and subsequently compared to the respective PNEC values. The resulting risk characterisation ratios (RCR) for all identified uses were below 1. The substance is not readily biodegradable. However, as the logKoc is below 3, a low adsorption potential is indicated. Therefore, binding to sewage sludge is unlikely and as a consequence a transfer to the soil compartment is not expected. Hence, tests on soil macro-organisms (except arthropods) are not provided.
