Additional information

For the aquatic compartment two chronic key studies are available for Triamine C12 -18, C18 -unsaturated. The algae test gave an ErC10 of 137 µg/L and the chronic daphnia test a NOEC (reproduction) of 270 µg/L. For the effect assessment the EC10 for daphnia adult mortalilty of 235 µg/L will be used as a worst-case. Note that both chronic key studies are higher tier studies performed in river water with relatively low (realistic worst-case) DOC and suspended matter concentrations. This means that for the risk assessment the bulk approach should be applied i.e. both the effect and exposure assessment are based on the total concentration (dissolved and sorbed).

For the toxicity to micro-organisms to Triamine C12 -18, C18 unsaturated an EC10 and EC50 of resp. 16 and 42 mg/L were observed after 3 h exposure.
