Description of key information

A test was performed under GLP conditions and according to OECD TG 202. An EC50 of 804 mg/L was found for juvenile Daphnia magna after an exposure period of 48 hours in a static test (BASF, 1989).

Short-term toxicity of the test substance to invertebrates was investigated by exposing Daphnia magna (waterflea) during 48 hours in a static test, according to the EC directive 79/831/EEC, Annex V, Part C guideline. This resulted in an EC50 value of 804 mg/L.
