Description of key information

The densities of the dilithium azelate, dilithium adipate and dilithium sebacate test items were determined as 1.32, 1.26 and 1.29 g/cm3 respectively.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.29

Additional information

All three studies are GLP compliant and follow OECD guideline 109 and EU method A3. Therefore, all three studies were given a reliability rating of 1 (reliable without restrictions). The densities of the three test items were determined at 20°C using the air comparison pycnometer method. The densities of the dilithium azelate, dilithium adipate and dilithium sebacate test items were determined as 1.32, 1.26 and 1.29 g/cm3 respectively. This gave relative densities of 1.32, 1.26 and 1.29 for the dilithium azelate, dilithium adipate and dilithium sebacate test items respectively. The key value for the chemical safety assessment was taken as the mean of the three values. Therefore, it is 1.29 relative density at 20°C.
