End distillation

Observations:

·        The sample started to boil at a bottom temperature of 146°c

·        First distillate was obtained at (head temperature) 94°c

·        Head temperature reached a plateau around 220°c

·        Bottom temperature continued to rise due to composition change.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The boiling point of Cymbopogon flexuosus is 94ºC at 1013 hPa.
Executive summary:

The boiling point of Cymbopogon flexuosus was determined according to methodology comparable to OECD guideline 103 using the destillation method. The boiling point (first distillate) was found to be 94 +/- 10ºC at 1013 hPa.
