In the test concentrations up to 0.40 mg/1 no alteration of the test substance in the test media was observed during the test. In the concentrations of 0.88 up to 4.3 mg/1 a small sediment at the bottom of the test vessels was observed after 24 hours.

Conclusions:
The test item was assessed for acute toxicity to fish following OECD 203. Under the experimental conditions the LC50, 96h ca. 0.66 mg/l.
Executive summary:

The test item was assessed for acute toxicity to fish following OECD 203. Seven zebra fish were tested for each nominal concentration, including a blank reference, namely 0.08, 0.18, 0.40, 0.88, 1.9 and 4.3 mg/l with an exposure time of 96h. Starting from 0.88 mg/l slight precipitation was observed at the bottom of the vessel. Mortality and behaviour were assessed and the LC50, 96h resulted equal to 0.66 mg/l.

Additional information

Acute toxicity to fish was tested following OECD 203 (Huntsman, 1998) on the analogue substance.. Very low nominal concentrations were assessed, however some precipitations occured at the two highest doses and mortality was neverthless observed, showing a LC50,96h equal to 0.66 mg/l.
