Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures:
General notes: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and clothing.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
Skin contact: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Ingestion: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
Notes for the doctor: In case of indisposition, seek immediately medical advice. Consult a doctor/physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor/physician in attendance.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
Symptoms: The most important known symptoms and effects can be found in the toxicological information for this substance.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
Treatment: Treat according to symptoms (decontamination, vital functions), no known specific antidote.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
Suitable Extinguishing media: Powder, CO2, foam, water spray
Unsuitable Extinguishing media:
Applying direct water may be dangerous because fire may expand to surroundings.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Carbon monoxide
Advice for firefighters:
Cool down the containers with water spray.
Firefighters should wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Non-responsible personnel should escape from the fire site.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
For non-emergency personnel: Wear suitable protective equipment (e.g., safety gloves, hazard mask, protective glasses, air aspirator) to prevent any
contamination of skin or eyes.
Remove ignition sources and provide sufficient ventilation to control exposure.
In case of emergency, contact responsible personnel and consult an expert.
For emergency responders:
Wear protective equipment (e.g., safety gloves, hazard mask, protective glasses and/or air aspirator).
Environmental precautions:
Do not empty into drains. Retain and dispose of contaminated wash water.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Vacuum or sweep up material and place into suitable disposal container.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Ensure through ventilation of stores and work areas.
Avoid with skin and eyes.
Wear suitable protective clothing and eye/face protection.
Handling in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Protection against fire and explosion: Dust can form explosive mixture with air.
Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Do not eat, drink and smoke in work areas.
Wash hands after uses.
Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, hot surfaces and direct sunlight.
Store in unopened original containers in well-ventilated place below 25 ºC.
Specific end use(s):
Cosmetic material

Exposure controls / personal protection
Control parameters:
Occupational Exposure Limits: No data available
Exposure controls:
Appropriate engineering controls:
Handle the product only under conditions where sufficient ventilation is provided and/or in a closed system.
Avoid accumulation of vapors by providing adequate ventilation during and after use.
Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:
Eye/face protection: Wear safety glasses as appropriate.
Respiratory protection: Provide ventilation and/or wear hazard mask as appropriate.
Hand protection: Wear suitable gloves.
Wash hands thoroughly after handling as appropriate.
Environmental exposure controls:
Avoid release large volume of the product to the environment.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity:
No hazardous reactivity if store in unopened original containers in well-ventilated place below 25 ºC.
Chemical stability:
Stable in unopened original containers in well-ventilated place below 25 ºC.
Possibility of hazardous reactions:
No hazardous reactivity
Conditions of avoid:
Heat, hot surfaces and direct sunlight
Incompatible materials:
Strong oxidizing agents
Hazardous decomposition products:
Incomplete combustion results in formation of toxic gases, containing mainly carbon monoxide.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods:
Remaining substance/product and its containers should be dealt with as such manner in accordance with national and/or local regulation.
Do not dump into sewers, on the ground or into any body of water.
Consult an expert on the disposal. Ensure disposal in compliance with government requirements and ensure conformity to local disposal considerations.
