Administrative data

First-aid measures

- general notes: Move out of dangerous area. Do not leave the victim unattended. Show the safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.- following inhalation: If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If unconscious, place in recovery position and seek medical advice. If symptoms persist, call a physician.- following skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. If on skin, rinse well with water. If irritation develops, get medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.- following eye contact: Flush eyes with water as a precaution. Remove contact lenses. Protect unharmed eye. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist. - following ingestion: Call a POISON CENTER/doctor if you feel unwell. Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If symptoms persist, call a physician.- self-protection of the first aider: Wear gloves to prevent dermal contact with the substance and safety goggles if risk of eye contact exist.

Fire-fighting measures

- Extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.+ Water spray+ Foam+ Carbon dioxide (CO2)+ Dry chemical- Hazards during fire-fighting: If product is heated above its flash point it will produce vapors sufficient to support combustion. - Vapors are heavier than air. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.- Protective equipment for fire-fighting: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.- Fire-fighting / further advice: Product is compatible with standard fire-fighting agents. - Fire and explosion protection: Normal measures for preventive fire protection.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment. Persons not wearing protective equipment should be excluded from area of spill until clean-up has been completed.- Environmental Precautions: Prevent product from entering drains. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.- Methods for cleaning or taking up: Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.- Further accidental release measures: Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.- Reference to Other Sections: For further information see Section 8 and Section 13 of the safety data sheet.

Handling and storage

- Handling: Do not breathe vapours/dust. Container hazardous when empty. Avoid exposure - obtain special instructions before use. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area. Dispose of rinse water in accordance with local and national regulations.- Storage: Storage temperature: 5 - 25 °C. Storage class (TRGS 510). Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Electrical installations / working materials must comply with the technological safety standards.

Exposure controls / personal protection

- Hand protection: Wear resistant gloves made of butyl or nitrile rubber- Eye protection: Wear safety glasses with side shields or safety goggles when handling the substance.- Body protection: Wear as appropriate impervious clothing and safety shoes. Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place. Discard gloves that show tears, pinholes, or signs of wear.

Stability and reactivity

Protect from frost. Do not store above 30° C.

Disposal considerations

Dispose of rinse water in accordance with local and national regulations.
