A change in colour from brown-yellow to brown-red starting at approx. 200 °C was obtained. Nevertheless, a constant boiling point could be determined.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The boiling point was determined experimentally with 278.2 °C (551.4 K) at atmospheric pressure 101100 Pa. This value is the mean of two independent determinations. Using the correction by Sidney Young, a boiling point at standard pressure of 278.4 °C (551.6 K) was calculated.

The experiment was performed using the SIWOLOBOFF method.

A change in colour from brown-yellow to brown-red starting at approx. 200 °C was obtained. Nevertheless, a constant boiling point could be determined.
