Additional information

As no study is available for Blankophor TP 1160 (CAS 1200448-68-5), a read-across is performed to a study conducted with the structural analogue CAS 16470-24-9. This GLP-study on the waterflea Daphnia magna was conducted according to the EU-method C.2 (equivalent to OECD 202), with analytical monitoring of the test item concentration (Bayer AG, Kemira, 2000). The test was performed as a limit-test with a nominal test item concentration of 100 mg/L (113 mg/L mean measured). During the 48 hours exposure period no immobilization of the daphnids was observed. Thus, the EC50 (48 h) value on immobilization of Daphnia magna is > 113 mg/L (mean measured).
