Four studies performed with the substance were available. The acute toxicity study of Rainbow trout (Ladwa, 2015)

resulted in an LC50 > 49 mg/L. The substance resulted in an LC50 > 100 mg/L for Daphnia magna (Parr, 2014), whereas the highest ecotoxicity was observed for algae (Vryenhoef, 2014), which resulted in an ErC50 of 49 mg/L. Therefore, the substance can be considered to be harmful to aquatic algae.

In a test with domestic sewage sludge (Roulstone, 2015) an LC50 was found to be > 1000 mg a.i./L.
