Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One study investigating the hydrolysis of the test substance is available.

The hydrolysis study was conducted according to OECD guideline 111 and GLP (Meinerling and Herrmann, 2012). In a preliminary test at pH 4, 7 and 9, significant reduction of the test item concentration was observed at pH 4 and pH 9. In the main test the half-life of the test substance was therefore determined in solutions buffered at pH 4 and pH 9. The solutions were incubated at 20 °C, 40 °C and 50 °C. The concentration of the test item was determined by HPLC. The half-life of reaction at 20 °C was determined to be 95 h at pH 4 and 1777 h at pH 9. In conclusion, the test item is stable at pH 7, and hydrolysis at pH 4 and 9 is slow. Hydrolysis is thus not expected to be a relevant process for this substance in the environment.
